Joel LaCourse and Fred Stoops founded Stoops and LaCourse, P.L.L.C., in the summer of 2007. Both Joel and Fred had been active members of the Tulsa business and legal communities for a number of years. They perceived a need for a small to mid-size law firm, formed on Christian principles of ethics, and devoted to providing the fullest range of services possible to the people in and around the south east United States. Joel and Fred have joined to found what has become one of Tulsa's most prominent boutique law firms in the region having litigation and class-action cases through the entire south east United States.
Joel and Fred are committed Christians and they make no apologies about it. The firm has been developed to approach the practice of law as a ministry, helping people in times of crises. This is their passion and their mission.
